- Discord Server (Guild) IDs (for configuration storage)
- Message metadata (timestamp, channel ID - no message content is permanently stored)
- Audit log information (for anti-nuke and moderation features)
2.2 User-Provided Information
- Server configuration settings (banned words, whitelisted domains, thresholds)
- Discord OAuth data (username, discriminator, avatar) for dashboard authentication
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Providing security and moderation features (anti-spam, anti-raid, automod)
- Storing server-specific configuration preferences
- Logging moderation actions for accountability
- Authenticating users for the web dashboard
- Improving bot performance and features
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in our database using industry-standard encryption practices. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your information.

- Access: Limited to authorized personnel only
- Retention: Configuration data is retained while the bot is in your server
- Logs: Moderation logs are retained for 90 days

We do NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Your data is only used internally for the bot's functionality. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

6. Message Content
Important: NetSec processes message content in real-time to detect spam, banned words, and unauthorized links. However, message content is NOT permanently stored in our database. Only metadata (such as timestamps and user IDs) is retained for spam tracking purposes.

- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (by removing the bot from your server)

8. Data Deletion
When you remove NetSec from your Discord server, your server's configuration data will be retained for 30 days in case of accidental removal. After 30 days, all associated data will be permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.
9. Children's Privacy
NetSec does not knowingly collect information from users under the age of 13. Discord's Terms of Service require users to be at least 13 years old. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
10. Third-Party Services
NetSec uses Discord's API and OAuth services for authentication and bot functionality. Please review Discord's Privacy Policy at https://discord.com/privacy
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of NetSec after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Discord's Developer Terms
NetSec complies with Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy. We do not:
- Store message content permanently without explicit user consent
- Use data for advertising or marketing purposes
- Share data with third parties for commercial gain
- Violate Discord's rate limits or abuse the API
